O.K. so you probably are wondering just how those folks in the Ancestor Photo Albums are related to you without having to figure it all out. So I decided to put a brief, simple ancestor chart here that will show just who is who. I'll add other families on other pages as this section grows. If I have photos I will include them. If you would like to add to this page please email me with photos and data. |
Jan Vermie came to the United States sometime before 1911, the year he married Ina Webb Haynes. Most of his family remained in Amsterdam, Holland. I believe his sister Susanna Alberdina Vermie (sp. Court Gozen) came to the U.S. also, as I remember my mother telling me of a cousin Connie (Constance) living in Valley Stream, NY. |
Key to chart numbers & abbreviations: Numbers refer to the generations. I used the same numbers for generatiuons back as I did in the Haynes chart so that Margaret and Helen would be number 11 on this chart also, and John (Jan) Vermie and wife Ina Haynes would be number 10 as on the Haynes chart. Abbreviations: b. = birth, d. = death, sp. = spouse Names in the purple boxes to the left are direct line parents and grandparents. Names to the right of these are their brothers/sisters. For example number 10 Jan (John) has 5 sisters and 2 brothers to his right his wife is listed under his name and the next section down are his children, Helen and Margaret. |
